As the real estate market has continued it's strong pace over the last few years, values have simply continued to go up in every area here in Santa Barbara. In some neighborhoods we have now reached the peak level prices that we saw in 2007. In the areas that have not reached these levels, prices are only 10-15% below these peak levels. So where are we today in and around the $1 million price point. I have gone ahead and listed below 3 recent closed properties as well as 2 properties that are currently under contract.
